![]() To say the least she was rude and really treated us like second class citizens, I hate to think that she treated us like this because two of us were of color. We went to the bar and Lisa asked oh well where are your glasses and we said we left them on the table, oh well you shouldn’t have done that”, we told her Jessica said it was fine, “well I don’t agree with that”. We returned back inside and our wine glasses and chocolates were gone. After our wine tour which we really enjoyed and the young lady giving us the tour was phenomenal. We asked Jessica if we can leave our wine glasses and our chocolates on the table and she said no problem. We decided to wait until after the tour to have our lunch and finish our wine tasting. Thank God for Jessica she stepped in a few times and took care of us. However, every time we walked to the bar to try another wine, Ms.Lisa would just ignore us and we had to wait patiently even though we were there before others. ![]() But that was okay, we decided to sit instead of standing around the bar. We started with the raspberry spritz, while we were at the bar another group walked in and Lisa introduced herself and the other two girls at the bar, we were taken back because she definitely didn’t do that to us. We asked if they had a wine list and Lisa pointed its right there on the counter. When we arrived we checked in and was handed a piece of paper explaining the wine tasting. It was a nice afternoon nonetheless - just don't be fooled by Groupon's come on. How else to explain the Groupon "deal" of $49 for $109? If my math is right, that's $54 for two - so the gift (which we didn't get) and the glass of Raspberry Sparkling white and the accompanying 6 pieces of chocolates per person apparently retail for $55 for 2. ![]() The tour is free to anyone who wants to take it, a total of $27 retail, leaving the sparkling wine and chocolates and the farmer's market gift not accounted for. Well, if one happens to stop in at the winery and pay "retail", the tastings are $7 and include a complimentary glass. It included 2 box lunches, 2 tastings, 2 complimentary glasses, 2 glasses of sparkling wine and chocolates, a tour and a farmer's market gift. While we had an enjoyable afternoon at the White Silo, I feel terribly misled by the Groupon "deal" that lured us in, so this review is less Winery than whine.
